System Description:
The GE NextGen LOGIQ e is a portable, high-performance digital laptop imaging system. The standard package includes LOGIQ e Needle Recognition Software Option which helps provide a precise and accurate display of the needle, anatomy, and motion even in Color and Power Doppler. This feature harnesses pattern recognition technology that recognizes and accurately reveals the structure of a needle within the anatomy, without distortion of the needle and compromising the target. Also includes the ability to adjust needle gain and angle.

A notable feature is a linear probe that has 4 user-programable buttons on the probe, virtually eliminating the need for a second technician. Most applicable for needle guidance, the new L4-12t transducer has 2 buttons on the front and 2 buttons on the side of the probe. These user-configurable buttons can be set to perform a wide variety of functions on the probe instead of using a footswitch or making adjustments to the system. These functions include settings such as freeze, print, save, depth, gain, change imaging mode, and more. This allows for a drastically more efficient workflow in the point-of-care environment where a physician typically performs the scan.
